Overcoming Stress
Stress is a natural component of our everyday lives which unmanaged can affect our well being, health, work performance and the quality of our lives. Perhaps because it is so commonplace we underestimate the damage it does.
So learning effective techniques to alleviate and prevent these potentially debilitating symptoms is a big part of therapy. And the unexpected bonus is you’ll open a door to yourself that you didn’t even realize existed and feel great!
Every week clients tell me that they feel like a new person after therapy so it seems that once the stress is removed whether that is from a situation or a state of mind, our natural resources come flooding back and we once more find our own solutions.

Individuals
Our session will be specific to your situation. We begin by looking at the big picture; something that has built up over a number of years can take a bit of unpicking while other things are straight forward and surprisingly simple to deal with.
Couples and Families
We can develop stressful ways of relating to each other and a neutral outsider can gently point out which ways are more or less helpful.
Small Groups
Are like large families and can learn to manage stress through training and workshops designed for the situation and individual therapy where needed.
Larger Groups
Also through training, workshops and talks with demonstrations of techniques.
