Overcome Anxiety Aberdeen

“We all feel anxious from time to time – it’s a part of normal life. But, for one in ten people, their anxiety is so bad it dominates their life. Panic and phobias are ways in which anxiety can also affect people.” – The Royal College of Psychiatrists

Overcoming Anxiety

Anxiety is the feeling of fear we all experience when faced with threatening or difficult situations. It helps us to avoid dangerous situations, makes us alert and motivates us to deal with problems. In this sense it is very similar to stress and the general information and tips on stress management can help you get started with now.

Helping others overcoming anxiety is one of the most satisfying parts of what I do. The reason for that is that in relatively few steps clients can overcome problems that have been stopping them live their lives they way they wish to.

You may be suffering from anxiety if you….

  • Feel worried all the time
  • Feel tired
  • Irritable
  • Dizzy or faint
  • Are unable to sleep
  • Have difficulty concentrating
  • Have a racing heartbeat
  • Indigestion or diarrhea
  • Suffer muscle tension and pains
  • Shaking
  • Sweating
  • Breathing heavily

If you are anxious already, the physical symptoms can make you worry they are signs of a serious illness. This can make you even more anxious.

As a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, I specialise in helping people just like you to overcome anxiety and other challenges.
